Yeah! paper crafting Finally!

These are some treats I made for our church's Easter egg hunt, and my daughters school, and my sons daycare. I have made over 70+ because I made bigger ones for my nieces and nephews. I didn't take a picture of those because I haven't stuffed them. The bunny one is on the Cricut Easter 2010 cartridge, for the cross I changed it out with design studio and the cross is from Design Calendar. Enjoy.

VBS Poster for church

I did this entire poster from the cricut cart Old West. A few people in our church would like the church to purchase a cricut for VBS, sunday school, bulltien boards and other stuff. So I did this poster to help show what the cricut can do. Our VBS title this year is SAddle Ridge Ranch. I wish I could have done more for them, but I have a terrible sinus cold right now and the watery eyes and sniffles was getting the better of me yesterday while I was working on it. TFL ~Heather

We had our family pics done this november, I must say they aren't the best but the photo center at walmart made them look alot better in person than on the computer.

SCrapbook cabinet

I have been so busy with school, but I do have 3 A's and 1 B so the painfulness away from the blog, cricut board and scrappin has paid off. I still have 2 more quarters to do before I am done. We started cleaning the estate, the cabinet above is my grandmas craft cabinet and I asked after it was empty could I take it home and my mom and aunt said yes. So I get a scrappin cabinet to fill before back to the grind stone of school.

a quick post

hello everyone I didn't fall of the face of the earth, yet! I have been really busy in medical assisting school. I will say so farrrr my grades have been very decent and I think I may get to scrapbook this weekend as my reward.

here is a few pics from this past weekend, we had my baby's 3rd bday party and I got him the little tykes 2 in 1 workbench can u say excited. He loves it and I love it because I got it brand new in the box from tuesday morning for $35, it was on clearance.

I will try to post more now that my teacher has synched my laptop with school I can work on my blog during my breaks.

Another sad Story.

Well I am posting to let everyone know where I have been and why I havent been creative. MY last post in july was the death of my grandpa he was killed in a tractor accident. Since then my grandmother became ill and our family has been busy taking care of her and things. Grandma was took to be Jesus Tuesday. Her funeral is tommorrow. They died 2 months apart and almost to the same hour. They truly were connected. They had 55 years together. Pic on the left is about the time they got married and the right is at their 50th anniversary party almost 6 years ago. May they rest in peace.

I promise to be back soon... I have invitations for DS bday party and I can't wait to show u, as soon as I can. Have a great weekend . God Bless.

Whimsical Design Team Challenge

Our challenge for WS&B was to use the colors above. Just so happen I had these papers laying out for easter and it seemed a perfect fit. I used lyrical letters (love this cartridge so versital).

I have many more layouts to blog and I promise to get them on here and get my awards that so many has awarded me, thank you. I apologize for not getting more on top of things.

Hannah my daughter started school last week and I got my acceptance letter to start my Associate in Applied Science so I will be busy working on that. I will be back later to get all the pics I just took uploaded and posted and I can'twait to blog hop since my main computer has been down it does all the picture stuff.

Using some supplies

Thank to Robyn at mypinkstamper.com I decided I would also use something I haven't used in a while. So I dusted off the chipboard and made some very bright cards. All the paper is DCWV cardstock with 2009 spring glitter stack and butterflies and blossoms stack. I also had the matching chipboard for both design stacks so I was using up my chipboard and my stacks.

Thank you to all of those that have left me messages of hope and prayers. They have truely helped in this time of need. Sorry I have been away on top my my granddaddys death I have had a sinus infection. So today I finally felt like pulling out my stuff and crafting. I will post my card as soon as they get posted on the whimsical scraps and bugs blog .

a Sad post

Words can't describe how I feel right now. I received a call about 4pm today tell me that my grandfather is with angels. This was unexpected and tragic. Please pray for my family and my grandmother they have been married 55 years and this is a shocking blow to us all. Heather

Finally a vacation

WE had a really good time. I am going to be honest the georgia aquarium is not all that it's hyped up to be for the ticket prices you should be able to look at things with out 50 people trying to look at the same 2 1/2 feet hole in the wall that you want to look at (this was in the rainforest area) . Now the area with the sharks was cool. I hate getting ran over with strollers and people that stop in the middle of the path and talk on their phone....but it was fun to have family time and I have really enjoyed having my hubby off for a week. So this has been a fun trip and I can't wait to scrap it. So I hope to be back crafting after he returns to work, since we are trying to make the most of his time off. WE are planning a trip to the Creative Discovery in a couple of weeks so we are looking foward to that. Have a blessed weekend ~Heather.
